Will others know I contributed to the database? No, NEVER. Any identifying information including Restaurant Name, supplier mix, and items used by your restaurant are never shared to other contributors. Anonymity and trust are the cornerstones of what make this a powerful tool to Restaurant Owners and Chefs. It would not work without it so respecting anonymity is paramount for TruMarket. Do you share information to third parties? Again, no NEVER. Invoice data shared with TruMarket is never shared to any third party including but not limited suppliers, restaurants, or advertisers.
What's in it for you? TruMarket is comprised of former and current Owners and Operators. We saw a major disadvantage for independently owned restaurants when negotiating with suppliers. TruMarket Reports are delivered weekly to Restaurants who contribute data. Because vendors adjust prices weekly, invoices need to be uploaded weekly to receive TruMarket Reports. We know it's frustrating but it's a necessary step to keep information current. Invoices can be uploaded from a computer or direct from a photo on your phone.
